THE DETAILS:
If you’ve been feeling lost as to how to have healthy, happy relationships, you can go from confusion and despair to confidence and success fast.
If you’ve been seeking a structured method that builds happy, safe, reliable relationships & friendships, I can help.
Mentor To Survivors Of Narcissistic Relationships
I’ve helped many survivors of narcissistic abuse & codependency discover lasting friendships and romance after decades of repeating cycles of toxic relationships.
What did they all need?
A PROVEN PROCESS & MAP TO FOLLOW: Survivors often have very little background and experience with healthy friendships and relationships. Having structure provides clarity about one’s experiences and helps them choose healthy options as they navigate the development and maintenance of a relationship, friendship, or other kinds of connection.
THE RIGHT KNOWLEDGE: Survivors of narcissistic abuse and codependency comes from a different world than those who haven’t been through that hell.
This means you need a relationship approach that considers the unique challenges and gifts you have due to that experience. Most relationship systems do not consider this, nor do they have the insight that you need to succeed in building happy relationships in your life.
THE TOOLS & PRACTICES THAT CREATE SAFETY & CHOICE: Navigating relationships while having a history of trauma can be complicated. It can feel daunting and overwhelming, especially because so much is new and foreign. With the right practices, tools, and awareness, you are empowered to make informed decisions that protect your well-being and expand your safety in relationships.
THE CORRECT EXPERIENCE & TIMING: Understanding your experiences helps you make wiser choices. To have that right understanding, you need to have the correct experiences in the correct time. Survivors build confidence and clarity fast when they know how to respond to the milestones in relationships as well as how to walk the path to those milestones.
A SAFE HAVEN: Survivors need real-time, active feedback on their experiences. A strong community coupled with bi-weekly live mentoring beyond the classroom helps them succeed fast and maintain their growth and achievements.
ON-GOING RELIABLE RESOURCES & REINFORCEMENT: Most survivors I’ve worked with needed consistent access to support, feedback, cheer-leading, and celebration as they ventured into the world and experienced life. Knowing someone has your back makes adventure and risk so much safer.
I found in my journey that few relationship coaches and relationship systems understand the needs of an ex-codependent or survivor of narcissistic abuse. I know those needs as I have them and had to navigate them as I developed my own safe relationships in life.
I can show you how to achieve safe, secure relating that creates loving, playful, and caring connection in the long run.
The Relationship Strategy™ was built exclusively to help survivors of narcissistic abuse & codependency. It leads them step-by-step in creating lasting, happy friendships, romance, and other connections. It is the only system in the world build for codependents by an ex-codependent (Marshall Burtcher).
The Relationship Strategy™ has one goal: help you build a fulfilling, playful, happy relationship with someone in your life. This relationship can be a friendship, romance, business, work, or other kind of connection in your life.
It achieves this in 3 steps:
Relationships are constructed of 4 elements: The What, The How, The Who, and The Result. Understanding each of these elements at depth creates a deliberate map to your happy, healthy friendship, romance, or other connection that you desire.
Students exit this step knowing what they want and how they want that in their lives. They are able to identify how it feels in their body and identify it in others. They are willing to ask for it and to receive it.
Achieving a healthy relationship requires experimenting and gaining experience through those experiments. This helps your brain and body become aware of what healthy and unhealthy behavior feels, sounds, and looks like. It helps us refine the WHAT and HOW that you desire in your relationship experiences, adding to what you choose in your life and don’t.
Students exit this step understanding how to identify healthy and unhealthy people, how to walk away even if there are feelings, when to stay and work through a road bump, and how to keep themselves.
You’ve have secure experience with a new person. They’re exhibiting solid patterns of behavior that are healthy, attentive, and that fit what you want and how you want it. Basically, you’ve found compatibility with someone you have chemistry and interest in.
Now it is time to grow into gentle, gradual commitment while continuing to discover them. This involves navigating conflict, handling mistakes and repairs, simplifying communication, and building secure attachment.
Students exit this step feeling stronger in their value, more secure in healthy vulnerability and have a willingness to rock the boat and advocate for themselves.

Taking the leap on your own healing is scary. I know it was for me. What made the difference is a warm, supportive community that I could turn to with my questions, my needs for understanding and support, and guidance.
I provide you with this support through:
Join me live every Tuesday at 5PM Mountain Time (Boise Idaho) to get answers you have about my courses, memberships, how I work as a mentor, and even support for what you’re facing.
You can talk with me personally via my secure Zoom Group call or shoot me an email and I’ll get right back to you.
Make that happen here:
My courses are designed to be used from the smart phone and the desktop computer or laptop.
This means:
Each course is broken down into a series of small trainings. These trainings build on each other (think legos). As you advance through each training, you place another block in your healing, freedom, and peace.
You will exit each training and each course with a new skill-set and the understanding of how to apply it to your life.
My courses are self-paced regardless of they’re the live edition or the recorded edition. They’re designed to adapt to your lifestyle and needs. This is achieved with my Building-block™ course design (means they work like following a recipe).
This means:
PROFOUND CLARITY: Happy relationships are a byproduct of knowing yourself in two specific ways: What you want and how you want it. This makes finding a relationship with compatibility, chemistry, and healthiness more simple, direct, and clear.
You will know these two things intimately when you exit the course.
CONFIDENCE: Knowing what you want, how you want it, having experience detecting it and interacting with it builds your capacity, resources and confidence in yourself. This results in far better choices and actions that produce the happiness, well-being, and security of healthy relationships.
FREEDOM: Freedom to be yourself and see who aligns and doesn’t. Freedom from having to stay in incompatible or ill-performing relationships. Freedom to choose and enjoy connection on your terms. Freedom to play and enjoy yourself in your relationships.
SAFETY: Knowing what you want and how you want makes relationship work simple. Understanding how it behaves and the feelings, sensations, and experiences that come with those what’s and how’s that you have make it easier to detect what works for you and doesn’t.
This results in deep confidence, security, and peace in your mind and body. You no longer have to question yourself. And you avoid the toxic, unhealthy people you’ll encounter.
BUDDING RELATIONSHIPS & FRIENDSHIPS: You will have engaged in building new connections, expanding on existing ones, and improving your experience, wisdom, and grasp of the skills and concepts you’ve learned.
YOURSELF: All relationships are a byproduct of the people involved in them. The more a person knows themselves and honors that self they discover, the healthier the relationships they create are. Ultimately, you will exit this course knowing yourself at a deep level and what you need for your happiness to thrive in a relationship.
THE DETAILS:
Hi! I’m Marshall Burtcher.
Before I found my freedom from codependency, I was suffering in a nightmare of cyclical abuse with my parents, stuck in a dead-end marriage, and barely coping with my shame, panic, and trauma.
I found myself on the edge of suicide, trying to run from the monsters in my head and the voices that told me I was worthless, harmful, and I deserved all the crazy-making, emotionally harmful behavior I’d lived with for over 30 years.
My codependency had led me to destroy my marriage, my financial security, and my friendships because I felt so entirely unworthy and so desperately needed others to validate me so I could feel worthy.
I believed that to be lovable, I must be loved first. Without being loved, I was not lovable.
This changed when I took a leap of faith and decided that codependency and my toxic behaviors were a result of my experience, not the expression of who I am.
The healing that occurred within a year of that choice was so profound that I became an advocate for a new point of view: that codependency was a survival response to the threat of being discarded. I call it “The Discard Trauma”.
Fast-forward from 2008 to today and I have helped over 750+ people find happiness with my unique, effective approach to healing.
Today I’m a proud father of 2, a fun boyfriend, and a mentor that is obsessed with eliminating codependency from your world and making happiness a day-to-day reality for you.
HOW DO I KNOW THIS IS THE RIGHT COURSE FOR ME?
Ask yourself this question and listen to you body’s response: “Will this course get me where I want to be?”
If you find yourself heavy and confused, then your answer is no.
If you find yourself light, expansive, and clear, then your body’s answer is yes.
That answer is what I call your “intuitive answer”.
Now, rationally, you can approach it like this:
If this is you, then this course is aligned with you.
WHAT IF I GET STUCK OR GO SLOWLY?
This is anticipated in the design of all my courses. You see, this course is teaching you new practices and a new lifestyle. It will take time to adopt, explore, and experience what you learn.
This is why all my courses are lifetime access and you have access to all present and future trainings of the Relationship Strategy forever.
So you can go at your pace and you’ll always have support and guidance along the way.
WHAT IF I DECIDE IT ISN’T FOR ME AFTER ENROLLING?
I recommend not enrolling if you’re wrestling with this question. Instead, ask me your questions and even meet with me live to get answers. Learn how here: Getting Answers
I generally do not offer refunds after class begins.
I’M REALLY BAD WITH TECHNOLOGY AND COMPUTERS. WILL THAT GET IN THE WAY?
All my courses are designed to be accessed through email. If you’re comfortable with using email, you can do the courses.
